About Us . . .
Bloom Training & Consulting was created from a genuine passion for supporting and uplifting early childhood professionals at every stage of their journey.
I am experienced Early Childhood Teacher with over 12 years’ hands-on experience across the sector. My career has spanned working directly on the floor with children, designing and implementing high-quality educational programs, creating engaging learning environments, and supporting children through key developmental milestones.

I have extensive experience developing and implementing individualised and inclusive programs, ensuring all children feel safe, supported, and able to thrive. Beyond the classroom, I have worked in leadership roles including Educational Leader, Nominated Supervisor, Approved Provider, and Early Childhood Teacher, giving me a deep, practical understanding of both pedagogy and compliance.

I have supported teams through multiple Assessment and Rating cycles, developed and reviewed Quality Improvement Plans, mentored educators in reflective practice, and guided services to embed child-safe, high-quality learning environments. Most recently, I completed my Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, allowing me to deliver meaningful, practical, and engaging professional learning.

At the heart of Bloom is my strong commitment to mentoring, training, and empowering educators—helping them feel confident, capable, and supported in their roles.
Founder & Lead Consultant

Olivia Mackie is an experienced Early Childhood Teacher and sector leader with over 12 years’ experience across early learning, leadership, compliance, and service ownership.

Her experience extends beyond day-to-day service operations to include the purchase and sale of early learning services, and the complex transition period that follows a change in ownership.
Olivia has hands-on experience supporting services through the full transfer process, including pre-settlement planning, liaison with outgoing providers, and post-completion support to ensure continuity of care, compliance, and stability for children, families, and staff. Recognising that this can be an overwhelming period, Olivia offers practical, hands-on support to help services transition smoothly and become fully operational.

Olivia provides practical support during transition periods, including onboarding employees, supporting family communication and enrolments, assisting with system and process setup, and ensuring critical operational, compliance, and child-safe requirements are in place.
Her approach is calm, structured, and people-focused, supporting services to confidently move from transfer to fully operational.

Alongside her operational expertise, Olivia has held roles including Early Childhood Teacher, Educational Leader, Nominated Supervisor, and Approved Provider, and has supported services through multiple Assessment and Rating cycles, Quality Improvement Plans, and compliance reviews.
She has also completed her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, enabling her to deliver meaningful, practical professional learning.

Bloom Training & Consulting was founded from Olivia’s strong commitment to uplifting early childhood professionals and supporting services through periods of growth, change, and transition, so they can focus on providing safe, high-quality education and care from day one.
